Danielle’s driving me back to one of UNESCO’s three Cities of Literature today…so I can study for four days straight for the math part of the GMAT. I’d rather be studying the reading comp/logical reasoning/sentence completion half of the exam, but that’s only because I’m much more comfortable with that material.

Trip to Ortonville
I finally got to see my great grandma today. I was so relieved I was able to make it. She hasn’t been doing well (just got cancer this fall), and as she’s over 90, that usually means the outlook isn’t good.
She was having a good couple of days, so she recognized all of us (my grandma, grandpa, Andrew, Steven, Tama, Austin, and me). I got to give her a big hug and talk to her...

Law school update
I have officially passed Legal Analysis Writing & Research as well as Torts. Waiting on Property and Contracts. Burton is probably just grumbling over the fact that his 54 page multiple choice section killed his 1Ls, and Matsumoto is probably too busy yelling about men in robes who robbed Hayashi or getting disappointed that I didn’t make references to Star Wars or Harry Potter or Flava...
Andrew wants to kill me
My brother drives like a maniac. He about killed us 3 times on the way to Chucktown. Apparently tailgating for 150 miles on the interstate is acceptable on less-than-ideal roads because the two second rule is “stupid.”
If we ever get in a car accident, and Andrew was the driver—there’s a 99% chance it was his fault. I just want to make that clear so the other driver...
I was supposed to read Middlemarch during my undergrad and missed out. I should probably go back and read some of the other books I was assigned years ago. There’s a slight chance my profs may have known what they were talking about.
